Tennis Retirement Rules
Please note that below is all related to Match Result betting, the main market for tennis betting. Any other side markets (e.g. total games handicap betting, set betting, total games betting etc.) are generally all settled once the result is decided or all voided if they are not decided yet in case of retirement.
In case of retirement during a match, the four different settlement rules bookmaker use are:
- One Serve Played – All Match Result bets stand
- First Set Completed – All Match Result bets stand
- Second Set Completed – All Match Result bets stand
- Match Completed – All Match Result bets are void if a player retires or is disqualified before the match is completed.
