Last week Feliciano Lopez played a terrific tournament in Kuala Lumpur and reached the final in which he lost to David Ferrer (7-5, 7-5). My long shot prediction, Misha Zverev played well against Lopez but could not overcome a poor start in the first set and lost 6-3, 7-6.
Players travelled to Bejing and Tokyo for this week’s ATP 500 Tournaments.
Tokyo is known for its fast hard court and this week’s pick will be on Kevin Anderson (Each Way). Odds are 13 at Stan James. Anderson has played well at the US Open and with home favourite Nishikori in his half of the draw as 2nd seed, Anderson should have the confidence to do well. Nishikori struggled in his first match against Coric and not being in his best shape (mentally and physically), I doubt the extra pressure from the home crowd and media attention can be overcome by Nishikori this week.
Good luck!
